On 9-10 November, the All-Ukrainian BIZ Workshop was held in Odesa to improve the skills of members of the Council of Germans of Ukraine and heads of public organisations of the German minority. Professor of the Department of Germanic Philology and Translation Tetiana Kushnirova together with student-translator Olha Kushnirova took part in the event.
For two days, the participants mastered the relevant aspects of project management, discussed the principles of funding both within the framework of the German Ministry of Internal Affairs programme and the search for additional ways of financing, documentation, communication with partners, etc.
The participants received a lot of useful practical information: they actively worked in groups to define the goals and objectives of projects of various directions and indicators of their implementation, which is a mandatory requirement when writing any kind of project.
The seminar participants attended the award ceremony for organisations’ representatives from the All-Ukrainian project “Unsere Besten”, where volunteers, actors, public figures, and all those who glorify Ukraine at all levels and help our army defeat the enemy received awards.
“Such seminars are essential for the personal growth of every person, as the world is not standing still, but is constantly changing and developing, and therefore, approaches to well-known practices are also changing. That is why various training courses, including seminars on project development and support, are quite relevant nowadays, as you need to know the main criteria by which projects are evaluated in order to receive appropriate funding,” – remarked Professor Tetiana Kushnirova.
The seminar participants will be able to apply the experience gained in practice, which will provide additional benefits when writing various educational projects.
The project is initiated by the Council of Germans of Ukraine and funded by the German Federal Ministry of the Interior through the Charitable Foundation “Development Society”.
Das Projekt wird vom Rat der Deutschen in der Ukraine initiiert und vom Bundesministerium des Innern über Wohltätigkeitsfond „Gesellschaft für Entwicklung“ gefördert.
It should be recalled that students of Poltava Polytechnic took an in-depth course in German in the Carpathians.
