Poltava Polytechnic scientist became a participant in the Erasmus+ mobility program at the Polytechnic University of Timisoara

Halyna Talovyrya, a scientist at the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of Poltava Polytechnic - Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages Department, became a participant of the Erasmus+ mobility program at the Polytechnic University of Timisoara. The participant studied techniques for overcoming stress, their relation to the academic environment, and attended a number of master classes and lectures of Romanian scientists.

In the period from May 20 to 26, 2024, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages Department ​​of the National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic» Halyna Talovyrya became a participant of the Erasmus+ mobility program at the partner institution of higher education - Polytechnic University of Timisoara / Politehnica University Timisoara (Romania). It is worth noting that this educational institution, one of the largest in Romania, has more than a century of history since its foundation, consists of 10 faculties and teaches students in more than 100 educational programs.

This year, Erasmus+ week brought together representatives of universities from all over Europe, on the basis of the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, such an event was held for the second time under the name "Synergy in the academic world: creating alliances, developing an intercultural environment and supporting sustainable development." Dedicated to topics of interest to both teachers and colleagues, the international Erasmus+ week was created as a dynamic event, full of fruitful discussions, innovative ideas and joint efforts in the development of global education.

This comprehensive event was focused on studying techniques for overcoming stress, emphasizing their relation to the academic environment, getting to know the cultures of representatives of universities of other countries and building an intercultural space, emphasizing the importance of this aspect for the global academic community, exploring the problems faced by Erasmus+ coordinators and foreign students while studying abroad, and the best ways to deal with them to achieve the highest academic results. All events of the week were aimed at optimizing international cooperation.

The program was full of festivities, useful master classes, and interesting lectures given both by the teachers of the Polytechnic University of Timişoara and by the lecturers who visited the university as part of this event, one of whom was the scientist of Poltava Polytechnic Halyna Talovyrya, who held a series of lectures devoted to the difficulties of oral and written translation for second-year students studying under the educational program "Oral and Written translation".

"I express my sincere gratitude to all the workers of the Erasmus+ office and the Office of International Cooperation of the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, and especially to Adriana Jacob, Diana Bals-Diaconescu, Claudia Elena Stoian, for the excellently organized Erasmus+ week , as well as the chancellor of the National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic», Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko and the coordinator of international activities of our university, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Anna Pavelieva for the constant development of international cooperation, thanks to which teachers have the opportunity to do internships and acquire new knowledge at foreign universities," said the participant of the mobility program Halyna Talovyrya.

Recently, future female architects shared their impressions of participating in the ICAMES 2024 conference in Istanbul, and scientists from the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy participated in an internship at the Transylvania University in Brasov.

It should be noted that Poltava Polytechnic students have the opportunity to study abroad under Erasmus+ credit academic mobility grant programs for a semester or an entire academic year at leading universities in Austria, Greenland, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, the Czech Republic.
