On October 9-12, 2025, the city of Lviv hosted the IFMA Ukrainian Cup in Thai Boxing – a large-scale national competition that brought together the strongest Muay Thai athletes from across the country. In the 60 kg weight category, an outstanding result was demonstrated by Mykhailo Serdiuk, a student of 301-BM group of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management at National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
Over three days of competition, the athlete held three intense bouts, confidently defeating strong opponents in each of them. His high level of technical training, endurance, and strategic thinking helped Mykhailo demonstrate true fighting spirit and climb to the top of the winners’ podium. His victory was rewarded with a gold medal and the title of Ukrainian Cup Champion.
Thai boxing (IFMA) is not only a sport but also a philosophy of strength, discipline, and mutual respect. For Mykhailo, participation in such a high-level competition became an important stage of athletic growth, and the gold medal – yet another proof of his professionalism and perseverance.
