Poltava Polytechnic’s athlete Liudmyla Luzan wins a silver medal at the Olympic Games 2024

Master student majoring in 017 Physical Culture and Sports of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Olympic champion in kayaking and canoeing Liudmyla Luzan won a silver medal at the Olympic Games 2024 in the 500-metre canoe double.

The 2024 Olympic Games are underway in Paris, where Ukrainian sportsmen and women are confidently demonstrating their achievements and winning honourable awards in a number of sports.

Master student majoring in 017 Physical Culture and Sports of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, silver and bronze medallist of the 2020 Olympics, multiple European and World Champion Liudmyla Luzan became the best in the 500-metre canoe double.

The athlete of Poltava Polytechnic together with her rower Anastasiia Rybachok successfully covered the distance and finished with a time of 1 minute and 54 seconds. The enchanting victory of the rowers brought Ukraine another silver medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

It should be recalled that earlier Polytechnic master’s student Liudmyla Luzan reached the semi finals of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in the individual competition.
