The Ukrainian Futsal Championship took place from December 10, 2022 to March 31, 2023. The students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports as well as the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" became active participants in the Championship and won the third overall team place, having demonstrated a well-coordinated team game on the tournament site.
The picked team of the Poltava region "Leader" was represented at the competition by:
- Anhelina Fedorenko, student of group 101-FR of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of Poltava Polytechnic;
- Yuliia Poberii, student of group 102-FS of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of Poltava Polytechnic;
- Yelyzaveta Riabokon, student of group 101-PU of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law of Poltava Polytechnic;
- Oksana Khrul, student of group 102-FS of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of Poltava Polytechnic.
The prize-winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and bronze medals.

Previously, the athletes of the Polytechnic became the gold medalists of the Championship of Ukraine in weightlifting among juniors and adults, the cheerleaders of the Polytechnic became the gold medalists of the XIX Championship of Ukraine among adults, male and female juniors, the team of the Polytechnic became the champion of the XVIII Universiade of the Poltava Region in basketball, the teacher and students of the Polytechnic won the Championship of the Poltava Region in the classical bench press, and the Polytechnic teams won at the All-Ukrainian sports billiards competition "Free Pyramid".
