Polytechnic athletes win the European Kettlebell Lifting Championships

The team of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” won the European Kettlebell Lifting Championships and got all kinds of medals.

Polytechnic athletes win the European Kettlebell Lifting Championships

The European Kettlebell Lifting Championships took place in Gorna Malina, Bulgaria, and brought together about 200 athletes from 19 countries. The team of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” took part in the competition. Our athletes won once again and got medals of all kinds.

According to the results of the Championship, the team of Polytechnic took the first place in the team competition, having masterfully performed the chosen exercises! The athletes demonstrated excellent training and physical qualities, well-coordinated work of a professional team!

Representatives of the University annually represent Ukraine in the international sports arena, showing high results and rising in the rankings of the best teams in the world!

Congratulations to the winners and prize-winners of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”:

  • Anton Chuiko, a student of group 401-FS, who won 6 gold medals;
  • Oleksandr Tsybulko, a student of group 401-FS, who won 2 gold medals;
  • Artem Dulenko, a student of group 201-FS, who won 4 gold medals;
  • Yelyzaveta Myrna, a student of group 401-FS, who won 3 gold and 1 bronze medals;
  • Valerii Kolomiiets, a student of group 102-FS, who won 3 gold and 2 silver medals;
  • Oleksandr Svyrydenko, a student of group 401-FS, who won 5 gold and 1 silver medals;
  • Arina Dymarchuk, a student of group 101-EML, who won 2 gold medals.

Congratulations to the coaches: Oleh Kolomiiets, Honoured Coach of Ukraine, Honoured Master of Sports of Ukraine in Kettlebell Lifting; Mykola Tkachenko, Honoured Coach of Ukraine, Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class in Kettlebell Lifting; Yaroslav Sushko, Honoured Master of Sports of Ukraine in Kettlebell Lifting, graduate of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports; and Yevhen Ostapchuk, Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class in Kettlebell Lifting, graduate of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, with the fruitful result and excellent preparation of the athletes for the international competitions!

It should be recalled that Poltava Polytechnic hosted a sports and recreation event “Sports Brunch”.
