"It is extremely pleasant to see dozens of children's faces, restless young spraws, whose eyes are burning in anticipation of meeting worthy opponents. I support the idea that chess is an intellectual sport, the beauty of which is in logic and opportunities offered for the comprehensive development of human thinking. Personally, the chess games played help me to manage my time, develop strategic thinking and, of course, spend a few hours of meaningful and useful leisure.
On behalf of the Ukrainian Federation of Student Sports in Poltava region and Poltava Polytechnic I sincerely wish you successful combinations, prosperous realization of your expectations and bright sports victories. Looking at young people who cannot imagine their lives without this intellectual sport, I am firmly convinced of the bright future of our country. How beautiful, healthy, athletic, persistent they are, with such youth it is possible to overcome any troubles! Ahead is a fierce struggle for the chessboard. So, concentrate and fight for victory.
