The Yevroosvita (“Євроосвіта”) Center of International Projects in partnership with the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence published the results of the 14th independent academic ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions “TOP-200 Ukraine 2020”.
National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was ranked 92nd among the participating universities, that is the best among the universities of Poltava.
Top-three leaders in Ukraine included National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Sumy State University.
The activity of Yevroosvita Center of International Projects is concentrated first of all on the development, approbation and implementation of the principles of international expertise and the system of ranking the higher education institutions with the methodologies collected by UNESCO.
The criteria for this rating include the modern tendencies of the university development, described by IREG 2019 Conference in Bologna, Italy (May 8-10, 2019) and Berlin Principles, approved by the participants of the second meeting of IREG in Berlin, Germany (May 18-20, 2006).
In the general rating, the first place among Poltava higher education institutions is taken by Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy (44 place), a partner of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
The methodology of calculating the university ranking is available for everybody who wants to check the results. Any data or evaluations by experts of those universities and their administrations were not used.
We would like to remind you, that Polytechnic was ranked first among Poltava Universities in U-Multirank 2020, and SCImago IR 2020 gave Polytechnic the fourth place among Ukrainian higher education institutions, and in the scientific and research activity we were ranked second in Ukraine.
