Polytechnic cheerleaders win a full set of awards of the Cheerleading Championship of Ukraine among adults, male and female juniors

Students of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” successfully performed at the Cheerleading Championship of Ukraine among adults, male and female juniors, held in the city of Lviv. The athletes won a full set of awards in the “hip-hop team”, “hip-hop quartet”, “jazz duet”, and “jazz team” nominations.

On December 2-4, 2022, the Cheerleading Championship of Ukraine among adults, male and female juniors was held in the city of Lviv on the basis of the sports club “Bosco-Arena”, during which experienced athletes, disciples of sports clubs from different parts of our country presented the audience with spectacular performances and interesting compositions. Members of a highly professional jury determined the winners and prize-winners in six nominations – “hip-hop team”, “hip-hop quartet”, “hip-hop duet”, “jazz team”, “jazz duet”, and “dance team”.

Cheerleaders of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” successfully performed at the Cheerleading Championship of Ukraine among adults, male and female juniors and won a full set of awards of these prestigious sports competitions. Poltava Polytechnic was represented at the championship by: Master of Sports of Ukraine, student of group 401-FM Kseniia Kolomiiets; student of group 301-FS Yelyzaveta Nikulina; student of group 201-mFS Anastasiia Shendryk; student of group 101-FS Anastasiia Holub. The athletes were prepared for the performance at prestigious competitions by the Master of Sports of Ukraine in cheerleading, Candidate of Sciences in Physical Education, Head of the Department of Physical Education of the Poltava Polytechnic Tetiana Synytsia.

According to the results of the competition, the female athletes of the Poltava Polytechnic have a gold medal in the “hip-hop team” category and a bronze award in the “jazz team” category. According to the participants, each new victory positively motivates them to train even harder, prepare for performances and unites the team around the achievement of the set sports goal.

University cheerleaders became the best in several nominations:

  • I place in the “hip-hop team” nomination – Anastasiia Shendryk, Yelyzaveta Nikulina, Kseniia Kolomiiets, Tetiana Synytsia;
  • I place in the “hip-hop quartet” nomination – Anastasiia Shendryk;
  • II place in the “jazz duet” nomination – Kseniia Kolomiiets;
  • III place in the “jazz team” nomination – Kseniia Kolomiiets;
  • III place in the “hip-hop quartet” nomination – Yelyzaveta Nikulina, Anastasiia Holub.

“Our team once again proved that together we can conquer the highest sports peaks, since working on our own movements, body language, feeling the rhythm of music is a real art, which we willingly immerse ourselves in during many hours of daily training. Personally, as a mentor and a person whose life is inextricably linked with sports, it is nice to realize that my disciples do not stop at what they have achieved and by their own example popularize sports among today’s youth,” – commented the coach, Master of Sports of Ukraine in cheerleading, Candidate of Sciences in Physical Education, Head of the Department of Physical Education of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Tetiana Synytsia.

Previously, the cheerleaders of the Polytechnic won gold and silver medals at the Open Championship of the city of Kyiv, became the medallists of the Championship of the city of Poltava and the medallists of the Cup of Ukraine.
