Polytechnic master’s student Liudmyla Luzan reaches the semi finals of Olympic Games 2024 in Paris

Master’s student majoring in 017 Physical Culture and Sports of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Olympic champion in canoeing Liudmyla Luzan reached the semi finals of the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris. The rower confidently overcame the 200-metre sprint in the single canoe, winning among experienced rivals.

During the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris, master’s student majoring in 017 Physical Culture and Sports of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, silver and bronze medallist of the 2020 Olympics, multiple European and world champion Liudmyla Luzan confidently qualified for the semi finals of the Olympics in the single canoe sprint.

Poltava Polytechnic’s athlete became the first in the 200 metres race, having completed it in 47.42 seconds. Such an excellent sporting result definitely guaranteed the rower’s entry into the semi finals of the 2024 Olympics. The gifted athlete is coached by Mykola Matsapura.

The semi-final canoeing singles races will take place on Saturday, 10 August.

It should be recalled that earlier the master’s student of Polytechnic became a gold and silver medallist of the II stage of the World Cup in canoeing.
