For uninterrupted power supply of the critical infrastructure of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", a 70 kW diesel generator was purchased at its own expense, which will ensure the operation of the central building during the working day in case of emergency power outages. All major services will work even in blackout conditions.
"While the terrorist country of the russian federation is attacking the infrastructure of Ukraine, so that civilians sit in dark apartments without water and heat, so that it is difficult to work without electricity and stable communication, the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" remains a centre of indomitability.
Another generator of lower capacity will work at the Point of Invincibility on the territory of the student campus, which is organised on the basis of the Volunteer Headquarters and the student hub of the Poltava Polytechnic, where important social initiatives are being implemented.

The generator is adapted even to severe operating conditions, has a noise-absorbing metal casing, equipped with a system of safe operation and emergency shutdown in case of overloads.
It should be recalled that a Polytechnic graduate created a universal ground-based drone and made the program for its modification freely available.
