In accordance with the Order No. 858 of September 29, 2023, scientific and pedagogical workers who have made a significant personal contribution to the development of higher education are awarded lifetime scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for outstanding merit in the field of higher education.
Among the scholarship holders is an honored employee of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Candidate of Technical Sciences, Honorary Professor of the University, Associate Professor of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation and Heat Power Engineering, Co-head of the Scientific School "Research of Balanced Nature Use, Applied Ecology and Energy Efficiency", Excellence in Education of Ukraine Anatolii Koliienko.
"The fourth honored employee of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", one of my teachers, won well-deserved recognition at a high state level. The government awarded a reputable scientist who specializes in technical solutions to increase the energy efficiency of buildings and has made a significant contribution not only to the development of Ukrainian higher education, but also to the development of an energy-efficient economy and energy independence.
Dear Anatolii Hryhorovych is distinguished by special patriotism towards the university. Exactly 50 years ago, he became a graduate of our university and devoted his life to science, teaching and training the best specialists in the field of heat power engineering.
As one of the heads of the Scientific School "Research of Balanced Nature Use, Applied Ecology and Energy Efficiency", he is engaged in researching the processes of increasing energy efficiency in the housing sector, industry and processing industry through the introduction of new technologies, equipment and materials, forming the principles of the introduction of clean energy sources, renewable and alternative energy sources on the basis and principles of sustainable development.
In addition to his immediate professional duties, our esteemed colleague has a number of public duties at the university, which he takes extremely seriously. As the head of the energy conservation group and a member of the university’s architectural and construction council, he has been successfully implementing the experience of rational use of energy resources for 10 years. By reducing the cost of electricity, cold and hot water over the years (taking into account the different cost of energy carriers in different periods), the university saved more than 6 million hryvnias and at the same time the conditions for the educational process remained comfortable! The savings are directed to the modernization of the classrooms. These are "green investments" in knowledge and the transition to new technologies in the educational space.
After the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" became one of the participating universities in a large-scale thermal modernization project with the support of the European Investment Bank, Anatolii Hryhorovych was involved as an expert at the preparatory stage and continues to advise in various areas.
Anatolii Hryhorovych shows a vivid example of the applied nature of science and the high efficiency of scientific activity. The scholarships will be paid from September 1, 2023, within the budget allocations established for the Ministry of Education and Science by the Law on the State Budget of Ukraine for the relevant year.
The academic and student staff of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" sincerely congratulates the scholarship holder and wishes him new professional achievements!
Recently, six Polytechnic teachers received awards from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the occasion of the professional holiday, more than fifty scientists of Polytechnics and colleges were recognized for their high achievements at the regional level, and four scientists received certificates of awarding the title of scientist and diplomas of academicians of ACU (Academy of Construction of Ukraine).
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine awarded lifetime scholarships to three Polytechnic scientists.
