On 3 April, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of International Economic Relations and Tourism, Coordinator of Euroclub “NEW STAR” of Poltava Polytechnic Iryna Levchenko held an online meeting with students of Chernihiv Regional Science Lyceum and students of Putivl Pedagogical College on the topic “The Role of Science in Ukraine and the EU” as part of the project “Spring in Europe: Let’s Learn EU Countries Together!”.
During the meeting, Iryna Levchenko raised the issue of the role of modern science as a field of research aimed at developing new knowledge about nature, society and thinking processes containing all the conditions and moments of this development. The lecturer introduced the audience to the historical stages and periods of the formation of science, its functions and the main areas of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the field of science and technology. In addition, during the discussion, Iryna outlined the main directions of cooperation between Poltava Polytechnic and the EU institutions.
At the event’s end, the coordinator of Euroclub “NEW STAR” invited the audience to the Open Day, which will be held on 12 April at Poltava Polytechnic.



The online meeting was held within the partnership of Euroclubs “NEW STAR” (National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, coordinators Iryna Chychkalo-Kondratska and Iryna Levchenko), “Nazustrich” (Chernihiv Regional Science Lyceum, coordinator Antonina Fedorchenko) and “World Space” (Putivl Pedagogical College, coordinator Nataliia Kysla) in the implementation of the project “Spring in Europe: Let’s Learn the EU Countries Together!” with the support of the EU Delegation to Ukraine.
Recently, Euroclub members of Poltava Polytechnic have been improving their skills in international negotiations on economic cooperation.
