From December 10 to 14, 2023, the European Muay Thai Boxing Championship among adults was held in the Turkish city of Antalya, in which experienced athletes from various European countries took part.
According to the results of the competition, a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", two-time European and world champion, champion of the European Universities Games 2022 Mykhailo Serdiuk won the title of European champion in the weight category up to 54 kg.
During the prestigious tournament, Oleh Pryimachov, a graduate of the specialty 017 "Physical Culture and Sports" of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", a champion of the World Muay Thai Boxing Games, a silver medalist in Thai boxing Muay Thai at the World Martial Arts Games 2023, full knight of the Order of Merit, also won a convincing victory and the title of European champion.
In total, the athletes of the national team of Ukraine won 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals. The excellent and successful performance of our Thai boxers brought the national team to first place in the team competition.

Earlier, Mykhailo Serdiuk, a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management, became the world champion in Thai boxing.
Recently, the athletes of the Poltava Polytechnic won a full set of awards of the XVIII Cup of Ukraine in cheerleading.
It should be recalled that a meeting took place at the Polytechnic with the graduate athlete-triathlete Kateryna Fedorova.
