The jury of the competition choose semifinalists annually with accordance of such criteria as architectural and constructive forms, optimal use of steel constructions. The teams with the largest number of points from the jury become the finalists of the competition.
The team of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, together with teams of four other Ukrainian higher education institutions, are the finalists of this year’s competition.
The finalists will defend their projects before the jury members within the annual architectural festival. Support the students of Poltava Polytechnic and join the online conference Steel Freedom Architecture Festival 2020 Online.
The organizer of the Steel Freedom Architecture Festival and the Steel Freedom National Student Architectural Competition is the Ukrainian Steel Construction Center Association, the goal of which is to promote steel as the best material in reconstructing buildings.
The partners of the competition include Metinvest Group, GreenCoat/SSAB, Tekla Structures/SketchUp, Metipol, LIRA-SAPR, RAUTA, Protan, CKS:center of frame construction, Graphisoft Center Ukraine. The competition is supported by EASA Ukraine, in.Lab School, National Union of Architects of Ukraine.
