According to the recently published Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics) for July 2022, the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" maintains its leading position among higher education institutions of the Poltava region and has risen 15 positions upwards.
It is worth noting the fact that the largest academic ranking of higher education institutions has been examining the web resources of more than 30,000 of the world's leading universities every six months for more than 15 years.
Poltava Polytechnic took 52nd place among the TOP-100 Ukrainian institutions of higher education. In total, the ranking includes 312 Ukrainian universities.

It should be recalled that the ranking system of educational and scientific institutions is based on a combined indicator that takes into account the volume of web content, as well as the impact of publications by the number of external citations.
Webometrics is the analysis of all types of media information using scientific-metric, bibliometric and informational approaches. Distinctive features of the Webometrics ranking are the constancy of the methodology and the high dynamism of changes in the ranking indicators. While the methodologies of other rankings are constantly changing, the Webometrics ranking principles remain the same.
