Polytechnic team becomes the champion of the XVIII Men’s Beach Volleyball Universiade of Poltava region

The team of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” became the champion of the XVIII Men’s Beach Volleyball Universiade of Poltava region. Polytechnic athletes demonstrated a high level of training and coordinated team play on the volleyball court.

Polytechnic team becomes the champion of the XVIII Men’s Beach Volleyball Universiade of Poltava region

On May 15, 2023, with the assistance of the Department of Education and Science of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, on the basis of the Poltava State Agrarian University, the XVIII Men’s Beach Volleyball Universiade of Poltava region was held. Student teams of Poltava higher education institutions competed fiercely for the main sports trophy, the chief judge of the competition was Viktor Bondarenko.

The team of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” under the leadership of an experienced coach, senior teacher of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Andrian Ostapov won the championship of the XVIII Men’s Beach Volleyball Universiade of Poltava region. The Polytechnic athletes demonstrated excellent physical condition, a high level of preparation and coordinated team play on the volleyball court.

According to the results of the XVIII Men’s Beach Volleyball Universiade of Poltava region, the top three were:

·       the team of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”;

·       team of Poltava State Medical University;

·       team of Poltava State Agrarian University.

The team of Poltava University of Economics and Trade also became an active Universiade participant.

Recently, a student of FPCS won a full set of awards of the Cup of Ukraine in rowing on “Dragon” boats, FPCS student Yehor Mychko won a silver award of the Ukrainian Youth Triathlon Championship, and FPCS student Andrii Nazimov became a bronze medallist of the XVI Open European Kyokushin Karate Championship among children and youth, juniors and adults.

Previously, Polytechnic cheerleaders became the gold medallists of the XVII Championship of Ukraine among pupils and students, Polytechnic athletes became the bronze medallists of the Futsal Championship of Ukraine among women, and Polytechnic athletes became the gold medalists of the Championship of Ukraine in weightlifting among juniors and adults.
