From October 30 to November 3, 2023, the XIX Universiade of the Poltava Region in men’s basketball was held on the basis of the Poltava State Medical University. Teams of basketball players from higher education institutions of the city of Poltava took part in the competition.
According to the results of the competition, the team of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” won the 1st place among Poltava universities. The sports team of the university demonstrated its sportsmanship and performed well at city-level competitions.
At the Universiade, Poltava Polytechnic was presented by:

It should be recalled that the Poltava Polytechnic team became the gold medallist of the XIX Universiade of the Poltava Region in mini-football and won the championship of the XIX Universiade of the Poltava Region in men’s volleyball.
