On 16 November, a remarkable event took place in Kyiv: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with representatives of student self-government from all over Ukraine. The event was held under the slogan “Strong Students – Strong Ukraine!”. The meeting was attended by the leaders of the Office of the President of Ukraine, MPs and representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Organisational support was provided by the Expert Council of Students of Higher Education Institutions, the largest advisory and representative body of students in Ukraine.
In his speech, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi stressed the importance of the role of students for the future of Ukraine and expressed his gratitude to young people for choosing to study at Ukrainian universities even in the most difficult times.
The participants of the event had a chance to talk to high-ranking officials and discuss key aspects of youth policy. At the meeting, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was represented by President of Student Parliament Valerii Levchenko, who shared the experience and achievements of our university community and inspired his colleagues with innovative ideas.
This meeting showed how cooperation between students and the government contributes to building a successful future for Ukraine. The active life position of young people is a driver of positive changes in their native country.
Poltava Polytechnic is proud of its students, who, thanks to their efforts and diligent studying, do not rest on their laurels, but work for the improvement. We can safely say that students of Poltava Polytechnic are part of a big student family of Ukraine, which will use their knowledge and skills to build the Ukrainian state.
The students of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” thank the President of Ukraine for his attention to the youth and our defenders for the opportunity to study, work and build a new Ukraine!
It should be recalled that representatives of the Student Government of Polytechnic took part in the meeting with the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine and his Deputy.
