As part of the agreement between the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" and the Poltava City Center for Extracurricular Education, one of the largest integrated educational institutions in a powerful extracurricular system of Ukraine, sittings of the club "Robotics" are systematically held on the basis of CyberRoboLab training center.
Head of the Club, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications of Poltava Polytechnic Oleksandr Laktionov works with schoolchildren to develop the necessary competencies and practical skills, presenting a portrait of a modern IT specialist.
The Department of Education and Science of the Poltava Regional Military Administration has already planned to hold regional events in extracurricular education's scientific and technical fields. As part of the preparation for the regional competition in robotics, in the nomination C, E, D in an offline format, talented pupils of the Poltava region are trained.
Thanks to the modern and powerful material and technical base of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics, in the CyberRoboLab laboratory, schoolchildren of Poltava lyceums, gymnasiums and general secondary education institutions have a unique opportunity to acquire competencies and practical skills of assembling and programming high-tech robots.
According to the Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" Oleksandr Shefer, during practical classes, along with school training, they use elements of the new educational program of the University "Robotics and Automated Control Systems" of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, specialty 151 "Automation and computer-integrated technologies".
"By involving talented youth of Poltava region in mastering new interesting professional knowledge, we form a sustained interest in IT professions among graduates of general secondary and professional higher education institutions through group and research activities. Despite the martial law and hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, we are working for a common result. We sincerely hope that the development of student and youth science will become an essential prerequisite for the development of a young European state. We harden the common victory together!" – commented the scientist.
It is worth noting the fact that specialists in this field are in great demand at high-tech enterprises in Ukraine and the World. Therefore, practical master classes and club sittings positively motivate today's youth to choose promising professions of the future.
It should be recalled that the platform for taking the state language proficiency test has resumed work and a demo version of the national multi-subject test has been released.
