Scientist of Polytechnic finishes the international internship at the University of South Bohemia

From 29 April to 3 May, 2024, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Viktoriia Kulyk completed an international internship “Restoring the Ukrainian Economy in the Postwar Period: The Experience of EU Countries and Directions of Cooperation in the Context of Regional European Integration” at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.

As part of her internship, a scientist of Poltava Polytechnic visited the Faculty of Economics of South Bohemian University in České Budějovice at the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty Zuzana Dvořáková Líšková. The representatives of the leading European universities discussed the priority areas of further scientific and educational cooperation as well as partnerships between powerful educational institutions.

During her visit to the Czech Republic, Viktoriia Kulyk met with the Mayor of České Budějovice, Dagmar Škodová Parmová, to discuss entrepreneurship and women's leadership in Europe and Ukraine.

For the students and teachers of South Bohemian University in České Budějovice, scientist of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Viktoriia Kulyk gave a lecture on the topic of “War Economy”.

The lecture was organised and moderated by the associate professor of the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Milan Jílek.

In addition to scientific and educational activities, the internship programme included visits to Czech cities with a long history. In particular, Viktoriia Kulyk visited the city of Český Krumlov, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Poltava Polytechnic for the opportunity to do an internship at a leading European university and a unique opportunity to join the world educational space and to establish the ways of further cooperation with foreign colleagues,” – commented a scientist of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Viktoriia Kulyk.

It should be recalled that earlier, scientists of Polytechnic successfully completed an internship at an outsourcing company, and financial scientists became mentors of the All-Ukrainian Information Campaign on Combating Payment Fraud.

Recently, Polytechnic received an award from the National Bank of Ukraine for its active participation in the Global Money Week, and future financiers improved their key professional skills at the branch of JSC “Sense Bank”.
