"In 140 hours, the project participants mastered the latest techniques of teaching the Polish language and presenting Polish culture. This was a great opportunity to improve professional skills, get acquainted with highly qualified professionals, professors, lecturers of Polish, connoisseurs of Polish culture, linguists. Interest among students in learning Polish is extremely high, so the knowledge and experience gained are important in teaching young people the language of a neighboring country. Uczmy się polskiego!" – commented the Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Alla Bolotnikova. She received a certificate of participation in the project.
It is worth noting that at the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" students study Polish professionally. In the near future they will become lecturers of Polish, since the university annually recruits for the program "Secondary education (English language and second foreign language)", where there is an opportunity to choose Polish or German. In addition, the Polish language is studied by students of various specialties as a second or third foreign language. There are also language courses available for everyone who wants to know Polish.
Students and graduates of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" are also active participants in Polish academic exchange programs. In particular, recently a graduate Nelia Bechkalo won a grant to study for a master's degree at the University of Warsaw. Nelia applied for participation while still being a master's student at Poltava Polytechnic. Her success was facilitated by the opportunity to study Polish at the university.
