Scientists, students and practitioners exchange useful cases in the field of public administration on the basis of the Department of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Poltava Region

Master’s students of the specialty 281 “Public Management and Administration” and teachers of the Department of Public Administration and Law of the Poltava Polytechnic held a working meeting with the employees of the Department of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Poltava Region, during which they discussed the prospects and directions of the civil service in the context of current legislation changes.

On May 5, students of the second (master’s) level of the specialty 281 “Public Management and Administration” together with the teachers of the Department of Public Administration and Law of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” held a working meeting with specialists-practitioners on the basis of the Department of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Poltava Region. At the invitation of Oksana Atamaniuk, the head of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Poltava Region, the future managers Maksym Solokha and Anna Chervona were given a unique opportunity to participate in the discussion of the prospects and areas of activity of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the context of changes in the current legislation.

The guarantor of the educational program “Public Management and Administration”, Acting Head of the Department of Public Administration and Law Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration, Associate Professor Inna Kulchii and Doctor of Sciences in Public Administration, Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Law Mykola Lakhyzha also became active participants in scientific discussions, sharing their practical experience, useful cases of quality training, professional development in the field of state and public administration as well as shared plans for further scientific and educational cooperation with the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Poltava Region.

During the meeting, the head of the Department of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Poltava Region Oksana Atamaniuk emphasized the attention of those present to the fact that in the conditions of the legal regime of martial law, the issue of training highly professional management specialists, who will be able to replenish the cohort of employees of state authorities of the Poltava region, is becoming extremely important and urgent.

Oksana Anatoliivna noted that since 2019, the employees of the department have been systematically improving their professional qualifications under general educational programs at the Department of Public Administration and Law of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, emphasizing the high-quality teaching and excellent professional competences of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the specialized department.

In the context of the working meeting, Oksana Atamaniuk also held a consultation for students of the second higher education level of the educational program “Public Management and Administration” regarding the activities of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service of Ukraine. The head of the Department of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Poltava Region spoke with master’s students in the “question-answer” format, and future specialists Maksym Solokha together with Anna Chervona were particularly interested in innovations regarding changes to the current legislation in the field of functionality of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service. According to the participants of the meeting, the coordinated work of each state authority of Ukraine and the involvement of young people in public service, including in the conditions of the legal regime of martial law, is important for ensuring the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens.

At the end of the discussion, the participants of the scientific and educational meeting took a memorable photo, agreeing on the priority areas of further scientific and educational cooperation with the Department of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Poltava Region.

Recently, future public managers and logisticians deepened their knowledge in the field of providing administrative services on the basis of the Tax Payer Service Centre of the State Tax Inspectorate in the city of Poltava, Professor Anton Stolitnii shared effective cases of anti-corruption activities with finance students, future public managers got acquainted with the work of the Poltava RMA, future lawyers deepened their knowledge of tax legislation by getting acquainted with the work of the Tax Payer Service Centre of the State Tax Inspectorate in the city of Poltava, an expert in foreign exchange operations of a well-known exporting company gave an open lecture on financial management innovations, and future professionals improved their skills in working with accounting reports at the basis of the Tax Payer Service Centre of the State Tax Inspectorate in the city of Poltava.
