On the International Theatre Day, students of Poltava Polytechnic presented a play called “The Depths of Fear”. This performance was a continuation of the debut performance of the student theatre “The Ship of Life”.
The fifth premiere of Student Theatre “Carpe Diem” of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was dedicated to the topic of fear. The actors think that it is not as difficult to overcome your own fear as it is to accept that you have it, isn’t it? The play combines both fantastic events and a deep message that everyone should think about.
“Dear students, dear artists! I think I will express the general opinion and say: bravo to our talented students! I am proud that such talented children study at the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. And I am grateful for the “reboot” to support the mental health of our students and teachers. I am delighted with the ideas you generate on this stage every time. I don’t know where you get these creative ideas from, but I am impressed, not only with your art, not only with your artistry, but also with your technical skills. The sound engineering, the lighting – everything is at the highest level, it’s fantastic! It is the students who do everything to make our university the best. I congratulate you on the premiere and on the International Theatre Day!” – expressed his admiration the head of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
The student production, prepared under the direction of Anna Moroz, a student of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy, impressed the audience not only with its acting skills, but also with the plot and expression given by the creative youth, as they integrate their own creativity into life and revealed on stage the eternal problem of mankind – the fight against their fears.
The charity event raised UAH 3050. The volunteer headquarters of Poltava Polytechnic transferred the audience donations for the needs of our defenders from the 116th separate territorial defence brigade, namely for a Bandera Power 225S charging station.
Earlier, the student theatre of Polytechnic “Carpe Diem” presented its own play at the National Museum-Reserve of Mykola Gogol.
