The multidisciplinary classical National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” hospitably opened its doors to the participants of the youth camp “Summer with Poltava Polytechnic”. Graduates of educational institutions of Poltava, Kremenchuk and Horishni Plavni, Okhtyrka in Sumy region and Magdalynivka in Dnipro region, Bilytska, Shcherbanivska, Mashivska, Karlivska, Dykanska, Reshetylivska territorial communities, as well as applicants from among internally displaced persons from Kramatorsk joined the event. From the very first days of the admission campaign, the motivated young people start to get acquainted with the powerful state-of-the-art material and technical base and active student life of the flagship of higher education in the Poltava region.
The excited participants of the youth camp “Summer with Poltava Polytechnic” started their acquaintance with the university from the open-space locations. The future intellectual, creative and sporting elite of our country was greeted by the Head of Centre for Students and Gifted Youth of Poltava Polytechnic Olha Sen:
“We are sincerely glad to welcome you to the cosy walls of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. It is you, the modern youth, who have a huge task to rebuild post-war Ukraine and bring it back to the community of highly developed European countries. We will start the first day of the summer youth camp with an introduction to the specialities offered at our multidisciplinary classical university, and our teachers and staff will be happy to provide highly qualified assistance in creating personal electronic accounts for the applicants.”
Deputy Director of Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Oleksandra Kuzmenko, Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Iryna Krekoten, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Ecology and Nature Management of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas Viktor Bredun, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Highways, Geodesy and Land Management of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management Dmytro Yermolenko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy Lesia Klevaka and assistant of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Yevhen Karavan told the camp participants about the most modern specialities, new academic disciplines and the successful educational trajectory that future students will be able to build with Poltava Polytechnic.
President of Student Parliament of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Valerii Levchenko told the participants of the youth camp about the peculiarities of the student self-government. According to him, everyone can join the public life of a powerful educational institution. Therefore, if young people want to have a busy, diverse and extraordinary student life, they are welcome to join the youth community of Poltava Polytechnic.
The meeting turned into an active communication between the applicants and the university’s academic staff, who revealed the peculiarities of the 2024 admission campaign. Employees of Poltava Polytechnic’s consulting centre helped future applicants to create their personal electronic accounts in the equipped classrooms. Head of the Centre for Culture and Student Creativity, Candidate of Science in Social Communications, Associate Professor Hlib Kudriashov conducted an interesting campus tour of innovative locations and introduced the interactive exposition of the Museum of Science of National Centre “Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” at Poltava Polytechnic.
The participants of Youth Camp “Summer with Poltava Polytechnic” were introduced to the programme of the scientific and educational event, which will be held from 2 to 9 July, 2024, at the multidisciplinary classical university. According to the organisers, it will be a useful and busy week with various master classes with the participation of teachers from all the structural subdivisions of Poltava Polytechnic, quizzes and startup trainings in the innovation laboratories, sports activities and campus tours.
Dear graduates, we invite you to join the summer youth camp to learn more about your chosen professions, get acquainted with the state-of-the-art laboratories of the flagship of higher education in the Poltava region and Ukraine, find like-minded people and spend your leisure time with benefit. Recently, the students practised solving logic problems at Poltava Polytechnic, and during the language camp, they improved their language skills at the university.
