From May 31 to June 2, the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" hosted the city student football tournament "Forward to Victory!" among the picked teams of Sports Schools (players born in 2012-2013). 8 teams from Poltava Sports Schools "Molod-2016", SS "Vorskla" named after I.I. Horpynka, SS "Vorskla", FC "Golden Eagle" took part in the tournament.
"It is symbolic that after the victory of the Ukrainian national team, the future football stars of Poltava were awarded!
Mood, drive, children's joy, parents' pride – I hope that this day of war will be remembered by the children with this small holiday, which we were able to hold thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the celebrations of the football tournament "Forward to Victory!", the winners were awarded by honored guests: General Director of the FC "Vorskla" Oleh Lysak, Captain of FC "Vorskla" Volodymyr Chesnakov, Head of the Department for Physical Culture and Sports of the Poltava City Council Ihor Kyslov, Head Coach of the Deaflympic national football team of Ukraine, which won the Deaflympics-2022 in Brazil, university graduate Victor Kozin, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Lina Rybalko.
"This is the first children's sports event since the beginning of this horror, since February, and I thank all the organizers and participants, especially the Rector Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Onyshchenko for supporting youth sports and the excellent conditions for competitions. Enjoy the game and enjoy the sport! Glory to Ukraine!" – congratulated the General Director of FC "Vorskla" Oleh Lysak.

II place in the diamond league was taken by the team of FC "GOLDEN EAGLE"
І place in the diamond league of the city student football tournament "Forward to Victory!" among the picked teams of the Poltava Sports Schools, won the team of the FOOTBALL SCHOOL "VORSKLA" – 1!
The jury recognized the best player of the tournament as the only girl – a participant of the tournament, a player of the team of the SS "Vorskla" named after I.I. Horpynka Sofiia Ziniar.
The best coach of the tournament was Yevhen Bakhurynskyi.

It should be recalled that student-athletes of the Polytechnic supported the All-Ukrainian challenge "TO VICTORY!".
