The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine starts the selection of competition applications for Euroschools 2022

The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine has announced the acceptance of applications from schoolchildren of 9-10 grades of general secondary education institutions, students and postgraduate students of higher education institutions to study in the online modules EU Study Days in Ukraine (Euroschools). Enterprising, creative youth who share European values, seek to find like-minded people and implement joint initiatives are invited.

The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine announces the enrollment of schoolchildren of 9-10 grades of general secondary education institutions, students and postgraduate students of higher education institutions to study in the online modules EU Study Days in Ukraine (Euroschools), which will take place in March-May 2022.

The project is open to initiative, creative schoolchildren and student youth who share European values, seek to learn more about the European Union, find like-minded people to share practical experiences, want to implement joint initiatives and together create the future of Ukraine as a European state.

During the training, participants will listen to lectures by leading speakers, diplomats and experts from the European Union and Ukraine, discuss topical issues of modern European society. The format of the Euroschools provides for active discussions and live communication, in the process of which partakers will gain new knowledge about the EU countries and relations between Ukraine and the EU.

The terms of implementation of the European Union project in Ukraine are March 15 – May 31, 2022.

The deadline for submitting competitive applications is March 7, 2022.

The selection of competitive applications will take place in two stages:

  • the first stage – selection by applications;
  • the second stage – an online test to examine knowledge of European issues. If necessary, online interviews for students are possible to check the level of English language proficiency.

The winners of the competition selection will be notified in person by e-mail no later than March 15, 2022.

This year the organizers plan to hold two cycles of interactive educational modules, which will take place in spring and autumn. Each educational cycle will consist of 10 modules for schoolchildren and 10 modules for students. The 20 best participants of the project will be invited to take part in summer or winter schools in an offline format.

Each module will contain:

  • lecture or presentation from diplomats or experts of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, leading European or Ukrainian experts, teachers, practitioners;
  • open discussions, creative workshops, debates, games and other interactive events on Zoom/Webex platforms;
  • online test.

It should be recalled that the Danish developers of the game "Politics of Nature" invite to workshops on philosophy, registration for a series of intensive debate workshops for schoolchildren Re:debate, as well as schoolchildren and students will compete for a ticket to Silicon Valley and a million dollars.
