The German academic exchange service DAAD offers Ukrainian master’s students and researchers grants that will allow them to work on research in Germany for half a year. The deadline for accepting applications for participation in the grant program is February 29, 2024.

The German academic exchange service DAAD offers research grants for master’s students and researchers of Ukrainian universities

Master's degree students, postgraduate students, researchers, scientific and pedagogical workers, professors of higher education institutions who have Ukrainian citizenship or a residence permit issued before February 24, 2022 and are obtaining or have a scientific degree can take part in the program.

Applicants for the grant program must be officially studying or employed at a Ukrainian higher education institution, have a research project related to any specialty except medicine, veterinary medicine or dentistry, as well as have a certificate confirming the level of foreign language proficiency.

Participants of the grant program will receive a monthly scholarship: 934 euros for master’s students, 1300 euros for doctoral students, 2000 euros for postdoctoral students, 2150 euros for scientists with a doctoral degree and teachers of higher education institutions, and 2300 euros for professors.

Also, program participants will receive reimbursement for travel expenses to and from Germany, health insurance, and additional payments in case of disability or chronic illness.

The deadline for accepting applications for participation in the grant program is February 29, 2024.

It should be recalled that the Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine approved the new Regulations on the annual “Young Scientist of the Year” competition.

Recently, three projects of young Polytechnic scientists passed a competitive selection and will receive state funding in 2024, a Polytechnic scientist co-authored a textbook for future marketers, and a philology scientist developed an educational and methodological manual for foreign language teachers.
