On 27 September, the academic staff of the Department of International Economic Relations and Tourism of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” – Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Nadiia Bakalo, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Viktoriia Makhovka and Doctor of Philosophy Iryna Levchenko took part in the All-Ukrainian Educational and Practical Tourism Forum “Tourism and Hospitality 2024: Realities and Opportunities”. The large-scale event was organised and hosted by the teachers of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business of the Kyiv State College of Tourism and Hospitality.
The forum brought together leading professionals, experts and enthusiasts from across the country to discuss the latest trends, innovative solutions and opportunities for the development of tourism and hospitality in Ukraine, becoming an important platform for the exchange of experience, ideas and best practices in the industry.
The forum participants learnt about the latest achievements in the field, actively engaged in discussions on the difficult challenges faced by the tourism industry and worked on finding ways to solve them.
According to them, gaining new practical experience was a great opportunity to contribute to their own professional growth and form new partnerships.
Recently, on the occasion of World Tourism Day, the students’ club members presented countries of the world and held gastronomic masterclasses.
