As part of the XVII All-Ukrainian Science Festival during the opening ceremony of the jubilee 75th Scientific Conference of Professors, Teachers, Researchers, Postgraduates and Students of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", the rector of the university, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko and the Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Work of the University Olena Stepova congratulated academic staff on their significant professional achievements.
"I sincerely thank my colleagues for their personal contribution to the dynamic development of the Poltava Polytechnic, one of the best classical universities in our country, where loyalty to more than two hundred years of educational traditions, innovative approaches and the scope of scientific thought are perfectly combined.
It is pleasant to note that even the war does not stand in the way of the progressive development of our powerful scientific and pedagogical team, ready to respond to difficult modern challenges and work conscientiously for the benefit of our people. Thanks to the powerful synergy of science and education as well as our teachers' significant professional achievements, science at the university is developing dynamically, serving the post-war reconstruction and restoration of our wonderful country – Ukraine!
The Poltava Polytechnic, together with millions of Ukrainians, is bringing our common Victory closer, holding its own scientific and educational front!" – noted the Rector of the University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko and presented the honorary awards of the Poltava Regional Council and the Shevchenkivskyi District Council in the city of Poltava to scientists of various structural subdivisions.
For conscientious work, a high level of professional skill, fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity, an active civic position, the Citation of the Poltava Regional Council was presented to:
- Serhii Zhuravliov – a senior lecturer of the Department of Fine Arts of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic";
- Iryna Krekoten – Candidate of Economic Sciences, Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic";
- Oleksandr Obidnyi – a senior lecturer at the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture.
For conscientious work, an active civic position, a high level of professional skill and a significant personal contribution to the development of the sphere of education and science of Ukraine, the Shevchenkivskyi District Council in Poltava awarded the Honorable Certificate to:
- Nataliia Bondar – Candidate of Philological Sciences, senior teacher of the Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages;
- Tetiana Savchenko – Candidate of Architecture, a senior lecturer at the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture.
It should be recalled that the XVII All-Ukrainian Festival of Science is underway at the Polytechnic, during which Polytechnic scientists were presented with awards of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for high professionalism and significant personal contribution to the development of the field of education, and the student scientific elite of the Polytechnic was recognized for their significant achievements.
Previously, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine presented awards to the winners of the President of Ukraine Prize for young scientists, 34 scientists of the Polytechnic were recognized for their work with gifted students of the Poltava region, academic staff of Polytechnic was awarded with the awards of the Ministry of Education and Science and presented with certificates of academic titles, and four graduates of the Polytechnic's postgraduate program received diplomas of doctors of philosophy.
