In April, 2020, website Osvita.ua analyzed the scientific monitoring data of scientific-publishing activity subjects in Ukraine according to the information of SciVerse Scopus. Higher education institutions in Ukraine are ranked by the number of scientific articles and their quotations by other scientists, which is called H-index. This year the data included 177 higher education institutions, which is 11 more than last year.
National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” has been ranked first among Poltava universities.
In general rating list of Ukrainian higher education institutions our university has been placed 66th.
The results of annual rating SciVerse Scopus 2020 are based on the Scopus database, number of scientific articles quotations which are published by the university or its employee.
The data of Scopus database is used for composing certain ratings of leading universities of the world, for example, Times Higher Education or QS World Univeristy Ratings. The database keeps record of more than 20 thousand of scientific magazines and hundreds of book series.
