Systematic interaction of the Department of Economics, Business and Marketing with stakeholders continues, therefore students of the Department of Economics, Business and Marketing of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" became participants in a series of meetings with specialists of the IT company DIGICODE, where they talked with Ihor Sheiko (Customer Success Executive of the company) and Anna Levik (People Partner of the company).
DIGICODE is a powerful and successful IT company that started its business in Poltava, and now is an international one that has representative offices (except for the cities of Poltava and Kyiv) in the United States of America, Costa Rica, and Slovakia. The company provides a wide range of IT works and services (from development to integration and support), and also offers digital solutions for almost all business areas: manufacturing, real estate, logistics, commerce, finance, transport, food, tourism, pharmaceuticals, etc. Suffice it to say that DIGICODE's portfolio of clients and permanent partners includes such "capital sharks" as Microsoft, Google, Daimler, Bosch, BlaBlaCar, Cisco, Domino's and many other world-famous brands.
Together with stakeholders, the young people discussed what the modern business environment looks like in conditions of digitalization and its future prospects. The participants were particularly interested in answers to the question of what flexible skills and competencies are needed to be competitive, successful and in demand.
Students of the educational programs "Business Economics", "Marketing", "Economic Cybernetics and Analytical Economics" of the Poltava Polytechnic listened to interesting scientific and professional lectures on the drivers of civilizational transformation, modern threats and challenges of artificial intelligence, further vectors of society's development, which was held by Ihor Sheiko. Thus, together with those receiving higher education, it was noted that the above-mentioned factors significantly affect the change in the economic environment. Based on this, the requirements for future specialists, their professional training, the ability to form and develop competencies directly related to the profession ("hard skills") and those that may be needed in any field ("soft skills") were given.
Anna Levik demonstrated how the organization of the company's personnel, professional career growth and personal development, technological process, interaction between departments and clients, social responsibility of business, volunteering and support of defenders of Ukraine, as well as other aspects of the company's activities are implemented in practice. And the students were convinced that:
- to be successful – love your profession and work for results;
- a real professional knows their business perfectly and "does not skimp" on quality;
- lifelong learning is the norm today, and without it, professional careers come to a standstill;
- English (and foreign languages in general) is one of the working languages of any successful company, it is simply a "must have"!

Earlier, a representative of LLC "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" shared with students effective cases of anti-crisis management in the field of the energy market, a specialist of JV "Poltava Gas and Oil Company" gave a lecture to future ecologists on waste recovery technologies, and specialists of PJSC "Poltava Diamond Tool" shared with the students effective cases of business development in the context of international cooperation on the example of their own enterprise.
