On 7 November, a working meeting of vice-rectors of higher education institutions was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as part of the cooperation with the Ministry in the field of international activities. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Olena Stepova took part in the event on behalf of Poltava Polytechnic.
The purpose of the working meeting was to create a platform to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and higher education institutions in the field of international activities, as well as to form a community to share experiences and solve topical issues.
The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykhailo Vynnytskyi welcomed all the participants and wished them fruitful cooperation.
The participants of the meeting discussed issues related to attracting and supporting foreign students, expanding the presence of Ukrainian higher education institutions in the international arena, developing Ukrainian studies at foreign universities in partnership with Ukrainian higher education institutions, expanding opportunities for joint educational programmes, as well as international technical assistance and European integration.
At the end of the workshop, the delegates shared their experience of overcoming challenges at their universities, discussed the proposals of their colleagues and representatives of the Ministry, and identified the main directions for further actions.
It should be recalled that representatives of Poltava Polytechnic took part in the final conference in Athens as part of the Erasmus+ project “Bologna Hub Peer Support II”.
