Vilnius College invites postgraduate students, teachers and university staff to join the second online seminar for teachers on sustainable development, which will be held on 12-13 February, 2025 within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Universities for Sustainable Development”.

Vilnius College invites Polytechnic scientists to participate in an international online seminar on sustainable development

The partner of Poltava Polytechnic, Vilnius College / Vilniaus kolegija (Lithuania), invites post-graduate students, academic staff and employees of structural subdivisions of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” to join the second online seminar for teachers on sustainable development, which will be held on 12-13 February, 2025 within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Universities for Sustainable Development”.

What awaits you?

The seminar is dedicated to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and discussing how modern knowledge and technologies can help educational and research institutions achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants of the event will get acquainted with innovative AI tools, including an intelligent goal locator that analyses documents for compliance with the SDGs and the Knowledge for Sustainable Development digital library that organizes available data for efficient use.

Main objectives of the seminar:

  • presenting the project results and their impact;
  • learning how to use an intelligent goal locator;
  • attracting new partners to the digital library “Knowledge for Sustainable Development”;
  • establishing strategic partnerships to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development;
  • expanding the universities network within the framework of the “Universities for Sustainable Development” initiative.

Who should participate?

Postgraduate students, academic staff, heads of departments, directors of institutes, deans of faculties, employees and heads of structural subdivisions are invited to participate.

Recently, students of Poltava Polytechnic shared their impressions of studying under Erasmus+ programmes at universities in Austria, Estonia, Denmark, and Slovakia.

It should be recalled that the competition for the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme for teachers at Białystok University of Technology (Poland) and the Erasmus+ mobility and internship programme for students, postgraduates and teachers at the Polytechnic University of Porto (Portugal) is currently ongoing.

It should be noted that Poltava Polytechnic teachers can participate in academic mobility programmes and internships, and students of Poltava Polytechnic have the opportunity to study abroad under the grant programmes of credit academic mobility for a semester or a whole academic year at the leading universities of Austria, Greenland, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, and the Czech Republic.
