The official opening of the annual competition "Young Scientist of the Year", organized by the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine took place on June 1, 2022. The purpose of the competition is to recognize the significant achievements of young scientists in various fields of knowledge and fields of activity.
Young scientists can become participants of the competition, according to the Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Technical Activity". Both young scientists and teams of young scientists have the right to be nominated in each nomination.
The main tasks of the Competition: awarding young scientists for their contribution to the development of science, for their contribution to the promotion of science, for charitable and public activities, for achievements in activities that contribute to the further development of science, growth of Ukraine's potential, protection of Ukraine's interests, increase Ukraine’s authority at the international level.
Main dates:
- June 1 – Start of applications submission;
- September 1 – Finish of applications submission;
- October 14 – Award ceremony "Young Scientist of the Year"
