The scientific work of the Department’s staff is directed to the research of problems of translation studies, foreign literary criticism, discourse studies, typological and contrastive linguistics, methods of teaching foreign languages. Their results are reflected in research papers, conference reports.
Every year the Department organizes and holds the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative Technologies in the Context of Foreign Language Training".
