Adult Education and Competence Development
TRUST’s education programme develops the knowledge and competences of people working across mental health, education, the arts and community support. It helps participants engage with creative approaches, cultural context and the needs of people who have experienced war.
The programme is designed around a curriculum, digital resources and a Hybrid Massive Open Online Course, or HMOOC. Online resources are connected with practical workshops and international exchanges in which participants encounter different artistic approaches and discuss their experience.
Four complementary modules move from understanding war-related trauma to engagement with movement, nature, theatre and music. Development draws on the partners’ respective professional expertise.
Art Therapy and War Related Trauma
The first module explores approaches to working with people who have experienced war, displacement and related changes in their lives. It connects attention to emotional experience, cultural sensitivity and group interaction with opportunities for creative expression.
Poltava Polytechnic shares responsibility for this strand. Its local work with different age and social groups, alongside professional exchanges, helps relate learning content to the practical circumstances of supporting people during war.
Movement Visual Arts and Mental Health
This module connects choreology, visual arts and dance practices. It considers movement as communication, engagement with space, rhythm and the expression of experience through the body and shared creative action.
EuroPlural Project contributes to its development. The Braga programme illustrated how movement workshops can connect with visual creation and a collaborative performance, allowing participants to explore the artistic process as both individual expression and interaction.
Expressive Arts and Eco Art Therapy
This module explores different forms of creative expression and engagement with nature. Images, materials, poetry and attention to the environment provide a basis for individual reflection and group work.
EPIONI contributes to the strand. The Aegina programme brought together natural settings, a museum, clay and poetry practices. Participants could compare their experience with partners’ approaches and explore ways of including natural and cultural environments in learning.
Theatre Music and Shared Creativity
The drama and music therapy module explores voice, sound, stories, theatrical expression and improvisation. These forms offer different ways to listen, respond, create images and build a story with others.
The Don Luigi Di Liegro Foundation contributes to the module and coordinates the education programme. The Rome seminar combined theatre and music workshops with performance preparation, providing practical experience for further discussion of creative activities with different groups.
Learning Resources and Exchange
The educational strand includes digital resources, video examples, practical materials and further learning resources. These complement the e-book and connect theoretical questions with international and local activities.
The official HMOOC page introduces the programme’s purpose and development approach. University reports from Rome, Braga and Aegina illustrate its practical international dimension and the Ukrainian delegation’s participation.
Contacts and Project Information
TRUST develops through cooperation among partners, professionals, creative activity participants and organisations supporting people affected by war. Its official website brings together information about the consortium, educational resources and main results.
Questions about the international project can be addressed to its team by email. University publications present Poltava Polytechnic’s participation and local activities, while project social media provide further news, photographs and videos.
