International activities

An integral factor in the functioning of the Department of Germanic Philology and Translation is the international activity of the department's teaching staff and students majoring in 035 "Philology", which involves participation in foreign conferences, round tables, master classes, webinars and seminars, trainings, Erasmus+ programs (trainings, youth exchanges, mobility programs), advanced training programs and MOOCs courses from leading universities around the world.

Teachers and students of Germanic Philology and Translation Department of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" constantly take part in trainings, youth exchanges, workshops and conferences within the Erasmus+ program.

Valeriia Dubovyk, a student majoring in 035 Philology , became a participant in theESP volunteering program - - a volunteering program from the European Solidarity Corps called "Volunteering Summer Fest 2" dedicated to the improvement of an Italian commune.

From July 10, 2023, to January 31, 2024, Yulia Shtefan, a 2nd year student majoring in 035 Philology, participated in the Children's Village | affido volunteer program from the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) in Graz, Austria.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy, under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Anna Ageicheva, holds an English conversation club for everyone in the format of Zoom conferences with Alex Purcell, a student at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and Larry Raffety, a Peace Corps volunteer from the United States.
