The international activity of the Department of Finance and Banking is carried out in accordance with the University's development strategy in the following areas: scientific and scientific-technical cooperation with foreign organizations, participation in international conferences, cooperation with international grant-making organizations, publication of scientific papers in foreign publications, preparation of methodological support and teaching disciplines for foreign students, training of specialists for foreign countries (academic field), inter-university pivrobitnytstvo and international scientific and technical activities.
The development of international joint educational programs, in particular the programs of "double" diploma, is one of the priority directions of the Department of Finance and Banking of the Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava National Technical University.
There are joint programs of "double" diploma with the following universities:
Bialystok Technological University (Bialystok, Poland);
University of Applied Sciences, Lübeck (Lübeck, Germany);
University of Greenwich (London, UK).
Within these programs, 4 students of the Department of Finance and Banking (Dikan Rostislav Valerievich, Derkachenko Alina, Shtan'ko Albina and Kuzmenko Evgeniy) in 2017 were sent to study at Bialystok Technological University.
In the framework of the program of academic mobility (in accordance with the agreements), KA Erasmus + International Credit Mobility, based on the Bialystok University of Technology, in April 2017, passed an advanced training and an apprenticeship for the scientific and pedagogical workers, associate professor Julia Khudolii.
In the sphere of cooperation at the international level, active work is being done by the rector of the university D.Sc., the professor of the department Onischenko V.O. and Vice-rector for scientific and international work, Candidate of Economic Sciences, associate professor of the department Sivitskaya SP These include working visits to the UK to study the experience of the leading university of the world of the University of Oxford, the University of Greenwich, Gainesville High School, Santa Fe State College, Florida; Participation in conferences, exhibitions, forums, which take place on the basis of leading universities of Great Britain, Azerbaijan, USA, EU countries, PRC.
Candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of the department Krekothen I.M. made a working trip to the Wroclaw Polytechnic, Business School at the University of Greenwich (London).
The Department of Finance and Banking actively cooperates with the University of Applied Sciences in Brandenburg (Germany), the Varna Free University named after. Chernorizt Khrabra, Azerbaijan State Architectural and Construction University, Higher School of Management and Administration in Opole (Poland), Wroclaw Polytechnic, and others.
Within the framework of these relationships, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department directly participate in the work of international conferences, round tables, summer schools, foreign internships, scientific publications.
So April 4, 2018, teachers of the Department of Finance and Banking, Ph.D., associate professor Glushko AD and Ph.D., associate professor Svistun L.A. took part in the VII International scientific conference "Problems and prospects of territories' socio-economic development" held on the basis of the High School of Management and Administration in Opole (Poland).
Assistant professor Skryl V.V. In September 2018 he was trained at the Varna Free University. Chernorizt Khrabra participated in the III International Scientific and Practical Forum "Innovations in Science: Challenges of the Present" and the international summer school "Managing projects that improve the world".
In January 2019, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Svistun L.A. and art. lecturer Shtepenko K.P. Internship at the Institute for Comptitive Intelligence (ICI, Germany).
The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Finance and Banking actively promote their scientific achievements in the world of educational space. The number of scientific publications is constantly growing.
Professor of the Department of Finance and Banking Liana Ptashchenko has published a monograph in the EU country "Problems of economic convergence of Ukraine to the European Union", LAP Lambert Academik Publishing, Riga, Latvia, European Union. In addition, in 2018, she and associate professors of the department Lyudmila Svistun and Vitaliy Skryl co-sponsored the publication of the collective monograph "ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT: FROM PARTNERSHIP TO COOPERATION", published by Accent Graphics Communications & Publishing, Hamilton, Ontario, published in English.
The collective monograph is devoted to the actual issues related to the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the member states of the European Union. In particular, the monograph examines the theoretical and practical aspects of various spheres of joint activity, as a commitment to economic development in Ukraine.
The Department of Finance and Banking involves foreign specialists in the educational process. Every year, the delegation from Germany, whose organization is actively involved in the Department of Finance and Banking, is visiting the Poltava National Technical University named after Yuri Kondratyuk. The Honorary Professor of the University Günter Stoll and the banker-practitioner Uwe Schrage hold lectures for the students of the Training and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management on topical topics, in particular: "Features of the functioning of the German banking system"; "German Mortgage Lending Program"; "Assessment of the reliability of borrowers - individuals for the purchase of housing and construction companies for construction using rating ratings"; "Housing Management in Germany"; "Energy efficiency in housing construction".
In 2018, the Department of Finance and Banking acted as an accomplice to the 1st International Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Conference "BUILDING INNOVATIONS-2018", which took place on May 24-25, 2018, on the basis of the Azerbaijan Architectural and Construction University in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The scientists of the department cooperate with grant-making organizations.
Since 2016, the professors of the department are engaged in the development and implementation of their own grant programs and projects. So, in 2018 the department took part in the submission of two applications:
- Erasmus + Jean Monnet Module «Increasing the energy efficiency of housing in Ukraine: the implementation of the European experience» (Khudolii Yu.S., Svistun LA, Krekothen I.M., Zavora T.M.).
- Erasmus + Jean Monnet Module "The challenges of energy efficiency: cooperation of Ukraine with the EU" (Chichulin K.V., Skryl V.V., Biba V.V., Minyalenko IV).
Cand. Sci., Associate Professor Svistun L.A. Participates in the implementation of the international project "Integrated Urban Development in Ukraine", carried out by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammen arbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
Teachers of the Department of Finance and Banking are members of the editorial boards of scientific publications abroad.
