Short Description of the Program

Highways are transport arteries, the stability and development of the economy of any state depends on their reliable functioning. Thus, specialists in the fields of design, construction, reconstruction and operations of highways are always in demand in the International Labor Market. Training of specialists for the road industry has been conducted at the University since 1995.

Education Program “Highways, streets and roads of settlements” focuses on the current specialty within the boundaries of which further professional and academic career is available: design, construction, operation and reconstruction of highways, streets and roads of settlements.

Education Program includes mandatory and additional components, which deepen professional and research competencies as well as knowledge of special sections of fundamental and professionally oriented subjects and thus provide an opportunity to master more complex programs for researchers.

Possibilities for studying and training abroad

Applicants for higher education in the specialism 192 “Construction and Civil Engineering” can study a dual degree program, that is, they have an opportunity to obtain a diploma of another Ukrainian or foreign institution of higher education in the same specialty already having the diploma of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.

There is a joint master's program in “Construction” with Białystok Polytechnic (Białystok, Poland).

Graduates of the educational program "Highways, streets and roads of settlements" can hold engineering and managerial positions in manufacturing and scientific-research institutions, organizations and enterprises of road differentiation as well as being engaged in scientific and educational activities in academic institutions of technical specialization.
