Short Description of the Program
Students acquire skills of using modern land surveying equipment, navigation, geo-data and photogrammetric software. Conducting field, remote, desktop study and data aggregation in the field of geodesy and land management. Organization and planning of field survey, preparation of technical data reports; carrying out of geodetic surveying at staking and fixing of land survey project, carrying out of topographic mapping and levelling operations of the territory, topographic map formation, cadastral data management.
Students gain experience in development of land survey project for landscaping at different levels of land plot layout (enterprise / settlement council / village council / united local authorities / district), territorial zoning of settlements, conducting regulatory expert monetary evaluation of land and property. Considerable attention is paid to the use of software and computing in design.
Students learn to use methodical literature, solve experimental scientific and technical problems in the field of geodesy and land management.
