Brief description of the program
Students acquire skills in using modern geodetic equipment, navigation, geoinformation and photogrammetric software, conducting field, remote and laboratory research and aggregating data in the field of geodesy and land management, organizing and planning field work, preparing technical reports; carrying out geodetic works during the preparation and transfer into nature of land management projects, carrying out topographic surveying and vertical planning of the territory, formation of topographic maps, organization of data for cadastres.
Students acquire skills in the development of land management projects related to the arrangement of the territory at different levels of the planning organization (enterprise / village council / settlement council / united territorial community / district), zoning of the territory of settlements, carrying out normative and expert monetary valuation of land and property. Considerable attention is paid to the use of information technologies in design.
Students learn to use normative literature, to solve applied scientific and technical tasks in the field of geodesy and land management.

Graduates of the educational program "Geodesy and land management" successfully work in technical positions in geodetic and cartographic departments, in the departments of Poltava Regional Main Department of Land Resources, the Poltava City Department of Land Resources and Land Cadastre, the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in the Poltava Region, in the departments of land management and geodesy of agricultural holdings and enterprises of the gas production complex.
