Ukrainian Experience within the Partnership
Poltava Polytechnic connects TRUST with the everyday needs of the Ukrainian university community and people affected by war. Its participation brings together international cooperation and practical work through supportive sessions, educational resources, student involvement and professional exchanges.
The multidisciplinary approach connects psychological expertise with fine arts, choreography, music and pedagogy. Activities take place in university classrooms, the Centre for Contemporary Art, the preschool education and care space and other community settings. Some sessions engage people living in the dormitories of Poltava Oil and Gas Vocational College.
Contributions to Content and Results
The university contributes to research into art therapy approaches and to the development and evaluation of e-book content. A further responsibility is co-developing the learning module on war-related trauma. Ukrainian experience helps connect educational resources with displacement, the loss of familiar surroundings and community support.
Practical work includes sessions and international meetings in Ukraine, preparation for learning mobilities and exchanges with partners. The university also contributes to the documentary strand and to work with artistic outcomes created by Ukrainian participants.
Ukrainian- and English-language publications, professional lectures and university digital channels share these developments with educators, mental health professionals, partner institutions and the public. Local activities therefore contribute to international knowledge exchange.
