On 14 May, during the solemn plenary session of the 76th Scientific Conference of Professors, Teachers, Researchers, Postgraduates and Students of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, held within the XVIII All-Ukrainian Science Festival, the academic staff of the university was awarded with the honours of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for their achievements in scientific and pedagogical activity.
The awarding ceremony was held by Rector of Poltava Polytechnic, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko and Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Olena Stepova.
“Looking at all our scientific achievements and accomplishments, we realise that we have a lot to be proud of. Our achievements show how responsible we are for our work. The results are impressive, and all this during the war. Thank you, dear colleagues, for your daily invaluable work! We are not slowing down, we have mobilised in our scientific and educational areas and are confidently moving towards our Victory! Ukrainian science is developing despite the war! Glory to Ukraine!” – expressed his gratitude Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
Head of the Department of Fine Arts of Poltava Polytechnic, Candidate of Art History, Associate Professor Tetiana Zinenko was awarded the breastplate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Excellence in Education”.
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Building and Civil Engineering Olena Filonenko was awarded the breastplate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Excellence in Education”.
The Honourable Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “For many years of conscientious work, significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity” was awarded to:
- Tetiana Lytvynenko – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Roads, Geodesy and Land Management;
- Alla Kariuk – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Roads, Geodesy and Land Management.
The Citation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “For many years of conscientious work, significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activity” was awarded to:
- Tetiana Nesternenko – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering and Technology.
- Nataliia Novoselchuk – Candidate of Architecture, Associate Professor of the Department of Architecture Buildings and Design.
- Vasyl Savyk – Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas, Associate Professor of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering and Technology.
- Olena Skakalina – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer and Information Technologies and Systems.
- Olha Tyshkevych – Candidate of Architecture, Associate Professor of the Department of Architecture Buildings and Design.
- Liudmyla Shevchenko – Candidate of Architecture, Associate Professor of the Department of Architecture Buildings and Design.
It should be recalled that two Polytechnic scientists became winners of the All-Ukrainian contest “Young Scientist of the Year-2024”.
Earlier, during the extended meeting of the Conference of Poltava Polytechnic Staff, 11 scientists were awarded with the Certificates of Honour and Citations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the head of a powerful scientific school was awarded with the highest honorary award “For Merit to the University”.
