World experience shows that life in war creates not only despair or pessimism but also new heroes, breakthrough innovations, and cutting-edge research that saves lives and helps millions of people overcome the crisis. That is why YEP is launching the "Anti-Crisis Semester" of the Entrepreneurial University.
ACLab is a platform created by the YEP team to implement technological and socio-economic initiatives with a great impact on restoring Ukraine from the consequences of the war. The main criterion for selecting initiatives is the great impact on the country's reconstruction in key areas: humanitarian and economic spheres; construction and reconstruction.
As part of the semester program, you can join a series of meetings with international speakers:
- April 11 (15:00 - 17:00): Impact investing: educating the next generation of Ukrainian.
Speaker: Olena Donets – Global COO & EMEA GM in Spyre Group; Co-founder of the DUCO consulting group; Co-founder of the largest startup center in Israel StarTAU; expert in building innovative ecosystems.
Lecture language: Russian.
- April 12 (15:00 - 17:00): The chronic of innovation: the story of Israeli innovation as an aspect of survival mode.
Speaker: Itay Verman – Head of the Education Innovation Department at Spyre Group; leading expert on entrepreneurship education in Israel; advisor to the activities of the government, municipalities, universities, and NGOs.
Lecture language: English.
- April 13 (15:00 - 17:00): Change: challenging assumptions.
Speaker: Shlomo Abbas – expert in business strategy and consulting to achieve maximum impact with minimum resource costs; he advised GM, Disney, Brinks, Bayer, and Johnson & Johnson.
Lecture language: English.
