Already traditionally, the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” becomes a unique large-scale venue for holding All-Ukrainian competitions among scientific and pedagogical workers of higher education institutions in sports billiards “Free Pyramid”. Billiards competitions have a charitable purpose – collecting donations for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The sports billiards tournament among scientific and pedagogical workers of higher education institutions “Free Pyramid” will continue on October 26-28, 2023 at the base of the Sports Billiards Club of the Yuri Kondratyuk National University.
In the competition program:
- October 26, 2023 – arrival of participants, work of the mandate commission, meetings of representatives, judges.
13:30 – Conference Hall of the Poltava Polytechnic, open lecture “Sports psychology” for the participants of the tournament by the Judge of the International Category, Honorary Professor of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Oleksandr Beznosiuk
15:00 to 16:00 – registration of participants
- October 27, 2023 – competition:
10:00 – 10:30 – opening of the competition,
10:30 – 18:00 – qualifying competitions
- October 28, 2023 – semi-finals, competition finals and awarding of participants:
10:00 – 10:30 – semi-finals, finals of the competition.
14:30 – summary of competition results by the panel of judges, awarding of winners and prize-winners.
Pay attention! Dress code requirements for participants: black pants (not jeans), white (black) shirt and black shoes (mandatory), vest and bow tie (preferred). Participants’ clothes should be neat. Participants without the prescribed uniform are not allowed to compete.

Previously, the winner of the Cup of Ukraine in sports billiards, a student of the Polytechnic Dmytro Bilozerov, donated the prize money to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the teams of the Polytechnic won at the past All-Ukrainian competitions in sports billiards “Free Pyramid”.
