"An extended meeting of the Rectorate of Poltava Polytechnic was held with the participation of heads of structural subdivisions and heads of departments on the continuation of the educational process.
The key idea is that students should continue to gain knowledge if the security situation allows.
The position of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is as follows – the educational process should be organized taking into account the security situation in a particular region, in a particular community. It is recommended to start the educational process (for example, in online format) in those regions and communities where there are appropriate conditions for this, in terms of security and resource support.
For those students who are temporarily unable to study (for example, are in the Armed Forces, in territorial defense units, are engaged in volunteer activities, do not have access to the Internet, etc.), it will be recommended to provide special training conditions. This can be any convenient form of education that allows a person to study productively (setting an individual schedule, "spreading out" or "postponement" of certain certification procedures, temporary transfer to part-time form of study, academic leave, organization of accelerated education, etc.).
A package of relevant recommendations is being prepared and will be discussed with the participation of local education authorities, heads of educational institutions, public organizations, as well as academic educators.
As of today, changes in the schedule of the educational process should not significantly affect the plans for graduation, holding end-of-term exams, performing qualification works by students of final academic years and passing qualification exams.
Therefore, academic staff are working on the organization of the continuation of training and "restart" of work processes.
Strength is in knowledge and educated youth!
Everything will be Ukraine!", emphasized the Rector.
