Within the framework of the agreement on cooperation in educational and scientific spheres between the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, on the principle of internal academic mobility, a field meeting of the XI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Economic Science: Theory and Practice” was hosted on the basis of the partner university of Poltava Polytechnic. Due to quarantine restrictions, the scientific event took place in a mixed format – more than a hundred scientists from leading Ukrainian universities joined the online discussion.
In Chernihiv, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was represented by a delegation of 14 scientists led by the Rector of Poltava Polytechnic, Doctor of Economics, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko.

The conference was opened by the Rector of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleh Novomlynets and Rector of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Doctor of Economics, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko. They noted the relevance as well as scientific and practical nature of cooperation between the two leading partner universities and presented innovative educational activities along with priority areas of university development as a reflection of modern socio-economic global processes.
Scientists from leading Ukrainian universities and state scientific institutions discussed topical issues of developing modern economic science in the context of globalization. The conference participants worked in three thematic sections: “Development of modern economics in the context of globalization”, “Modeling and forecasting of socio-economic processes”, “Economics of the construction industry: development trends”, two female scientists spoke at the plenary session.
Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Personnel Management and Labor Economics of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University Liudmyla Remniova presented the report “Global trends in personnel management in VUCA-world” – a colleague gave us a scientific basis for our Academic Council.
Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Economic Theory and Economic Cybernetics of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Maryna Chyzhevska shared interesting forecasts for the development of cryptocurrency in her report “Ambivalence of the cryptoindustry technologies impact on energy poverty”.
