"Student self-government is a mini-model of parliamentarism at the university. At the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", students have all-round support for their initiatives and are impellent of progress. It is very symbolic that the newly elected members of the student self-government began their cadence from a working meeting in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and learned about opportunities for professional growth. Establishing cooperation with lawmakers is significant not only for improving youth policy in the state, but also for communicating with stakeholders of educational programs. After all, Poltava Polytechnic, as a classic multidisciplinary university, trains strategically important specialists for public governance, development of national the economy, energy security, information technology, construction, etc.
A pleasant bonus was an acquaintance with the history of the Parliament of the times of independent Ukraine and a tour, including the session hall and the most significant places. Who knows, maybe we will be the elite of the future parliamentarism!" – commented the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Students and Postgraduates Oleksandr Drobotia.
It should be recalled that from September 1, two students of Polytechnic receive nominal scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for high achievements in their studies and scientific work.
