At the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" the second week of training in a blended format started – practical and laboratory classes requiring modern specialized equipment and the use of university laboratories are held offline at the university.

"In order to provide practical training for students in specialties involving the use of specialized laboratory equipment in the educational process from April 18 for full-time students of Poltava Polytechnic, the educational process was introduced in a blended format. Students have the opportunity to attend practical classes and perform laboratory work in classrooms and specialized laboratories of the university.

Teachers and scientists of Poltava Polytechnic work with students to master the practical components of the theoretical lecture material, they have already studied, and conduct practical, seminar and laboratory classes offline. Students who cannot come to the university join online.

Excellent material and technical base of structural subdivisions is used for high-quality training and preparation for the term exams, special attention is now focused on supporting graduate students.

We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to work and study! We educate a generation of young specialists of extremely important specialties who will work for the benefit of Ukraine!" – commented Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko.

According to teachers of the Department of Drilling and Geology of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", practical training is the main component of the successful development of any professional. That is why students majoring in 103 "Earth Sciences" (Geology of Oil and Gas) in practice actively master practical cases in the discipline of "Structural Geology and Geographic Mapping".

"No matter how difficult it is, we continue to overcome any obstacles, look for ways to solve problems, motivate and inspire each other! We are glad that the study at the university continues remotely, but students have the opportunity to learn the theoretical material obtained during practical classes within the classrooms and laboratories of the university. For the future geologist, the ability to work with maps, read, analyze them and build sections is extremely important. Scientific and educational communication continues!" – emphasized a senior lecturer at the Department of Drilling and Geology of Poltava Polytechnic Maryna Vovk.

Future specialists – rehabilitation specialists and ergotherapists make full use of the blended format of training, excellent laboratory base of the university and master the most modern health techniques and technologies, wide professional opportunities and comfortable learning conditions created within the walls of Poltava Polytechnic. Students majoring in 227 "Physical Therapy and Ergotherapy" under the guidance of Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Therapy and Ergotherapy Oksana Hordiienko attend classes in the discipline "Fundamentals of practical activity in physical therapy, ergotherapy", as well as practical classes with Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Liudmyla Kletsenko, where the acquired knowledge was consolidated. 

Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department Anatolii Levkov conducted a practical offline class "Bleeding. Methods of temporary stopping" in the office of preclinical practice. Future specialists have mastered the techniques and most common practices of helping with various types of bleeding. The laboratory of manual methods of the Department of Physical Therapy and Ergotherapy has resumed its work in the usual offline mode, where practical massage classes are actively conducted.

Scientists of the Department of Physical Therapy and Ergotherapy did not let the student research activities, club work, writing abstracts of scientific articles, research, preparation of student youth for speeches at All-Ukrainian and international scientific and practical conferences be out of the attention. In particular, the work of the students’ scientific club of future physical therapists and occupational therapists was resumed under the leadership of Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy and Ergotherapy Victoriia Horoshko, at the meetings of which students continue to consolidate the knowledge gained in practical and seminar classes.

Students of the specialty "Fine Arts, Decorative Arts, Restoration" also attend practical classes at the university.

Earlier, future surveyors had an open practical lesson.

It should be recalled that the Polytechnic continues to lead among Poltava higher education institutions in the ranking of scientific activities, representatives of Poltava Polytechnic took part in a scientific teleconference, and a Polytechnic student took part in a social entrepreneurship development project.
