This ICM Program at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna (Austria) is an excellent opportunity for our students who wish to integrate into the European educational space and enhance their knowledge in finance, economics, management, and law within the multicultural environment of Vienna. Studying at BFI Vienna opens doors to European professional standards and significantly boosts competitiveness in the job market after graduation.
Participation in the Erasmus+ program is not limited to academic growth. It is also an incredible opportunity for personal development, expanding your network, and getting acquainted with Austrian culture. Students will receive necessary financial support, which will greatly facilitate adaptation and cover part of the living and study expenses in the capital of Austria.
The competition is open to motivated, proactive undergraduate students at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Finance, Economics, Management, and Law.
The study period will take place during the Autumn Semester of the 2026/2027 academic year, approximately from August 31, 2026, to January 30, 2027.

Procedure for Applying to the Erasmus+ ICM Program
Step 1. Contacting the Sending Department
The student contacts the Sending Department to discuss the possibility of participating in the program.
The Department compares the courses in the Ukrainian educational program the student is enrolled in with those at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna for the I (Autumn) semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
If the courses align, the Department prepares two Official Letters (per the document list) and informs the Dean’s Office of the need to issue an academic transcript.
After selecting the mobility participants, students will receive a registration link. They must submit their applications on the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna’s online platform, Mobility Online, by the specified deadline. Staff from the International Relations Department will provide all necessary advisory assistance to selected candidates with filling out applications and preparing documents.
Students for whom the Department has not prepared two Official Letters and the Dean’s Office has not issued an academic transcript (i.e., those without confirming documents for credit recognition) will not be admitted to the English language test.
Step 2. Preparation of Personal Documents
The student prepares the following documents:
2 Official Letters from the Sending Department;
Academic Transcript from the Dean's Office;
Scan of International Passport (first spread, PDF format);
CV in English (PDF format with photo, max 2 pages);
Motivation Letter in English (up to 1 page, PDF format);
Passport-sized photo (.jpeg);
Scan of High School Diploma with supplements;
English/German Language Proficiency Certificate (if available).
Motivation letters are checked for plagiarism and AI usage.
It is forbidden to submit the same motivation letter for multiple mobility opportunities.
Documents not prepared in accordance with the requirements will not be accepted.
Step 3. Submission of Documents
The complete set of documents must be submitted simultaneously in electronic and hard copy formats via the Sending Department to the International Relations Department (Room 213-C).
Electronic submission address: interoffice@nupp.edu.ua.
Selecting Courses for the Learning Agreement
The course catalogue is available on the website and indicates the number of credits, the semester, and the language of instruction. In the “Incoming” column of the course catalogue, it is marked whether the course is open to Erasmus students and in which language it is taught.
In the “Type of study course” field, select the level of study – Bachelor or Master; in “Degree Programme”, select the relevant educational program name; in “Curriculum”, select full-time; for semesters, choose 21 WS, 3 WS, 5 WS (Winter Semester).
You can choose courses from all Bachelor programs, as well as from the International (mix & match) program.
Students will be able to select courses through Mobility Online as soon as they receive an email notification from the Austrian International Office. The number of places in courses is limited, so it is recommended to choose courses on the Mobility Online website and register for them as soon as possible!
Important! Mixing subjects from different programs and study levels may lead to timetable clashes. When registering for courses, you can view the schedule and select subjects in advance to avoid these clashes, as attending all subjects selected in the Learning Agreement is mandatory! Many courses are taught both full-time and part-time, meaning you can switch to another group of a specific course that fits your schedule better (students will receive their individual timetable at the beginning of the semester).
Note: if choosing part-time courses (the same classes as full-time but held in the evening/on weekends), please note that these courses start earlier and run until the end of the semester. Full-time courses often start later and finish earlier, but this depends on the specific course.
Students must remain at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna from the very beginning of studies until the end of the examination session. The exact end dates of the semester depend on the chosen courses. Mobility participants will gain access to their timetables no later than the first day of the semester.
You should arrive for studies at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna at the beginning of the semester. Shortly before the semester starts, online information sessions are held for Erasmus+ students, and on the first day of the semester, there is an orientation tour of the university. During the first two weeks, the International Office and the ESN organise many events for international students to introduce them to fellow students and the city and facilitate their adaptation to living in a new country.
